Don’t forget that this Saturday is the October OPRC Horse Harmony October Fun Day at Riverside Ranch (Nancy’s). Come join us for a wonderful trail ride and lots of fun!!! See the attached flyer for the details.
* Be sure to bring your chairs for sitting. And don’t forget to bring your favorite dish/snack/dessert to share for the potluck. Dress up you and/or your horse is all optional but it will be fun to do so 🙂
** Please use these directions, they will help you to avoid the traffic due to the Nanjemoy Heritage Day event that will be going on.

From The Rt 301 and Rt 6 (Port Tobacco Road) intersection in LaPlata head west on Rt 6 Port Tobacco Road for 11 miles to Rt 425 (Ironsides Road) this will be a left turn stay on Rt 425 for 4.8 miles. You will meet Rt 6. Turn left and go 1.2 miles you will go over a small bridge and Maryland Point Road will be on your right. turn and go 3 miles you will come to Rt. 224 (Riverside Road) turn left go about a half mile to Riverside Ranch Place on your right. Take gravel road for 1 mile you will see the parking area in a fenced field on your right.
